In Jaffna Tamil the letters "G" and "K" are written the same. Written in the most pure Tamil, name Ganna is Kanna. The naughty child form of the Hindu god Krishna is Kanna. In Japan it is a female name. In Sri lanka it is a Tamil mans name. Name Shiromi is Jaffna Tamil Catholic and pure Sinhala meaning "white raw fish" in Japanese or "white sashimi". |
